Hi and welcome to Bloody, the approved fanlisting dedicated to Mary Tudor, the first daughter of Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon in the popular TV series The Tudors. If you like her, please consider joining us :) Mary is my favourite female character ♥ Before I started watching the show I didn't like this woman at all (the real one, I mean); I had always seen her as a fierce fanatic without anything interesting in her. However, The Tudors proved me wrong as I appreciated her sad story, being an illegitimate child and all. She now appears to me as a strong woman who did what she did during her reign because of some reasons who made her heart grow cold, bloody and not sensitive towards heretics. Mary is played by Bláthnaid McKeown (season 1) and by Sarah Bolger (season 2, 3 and 4).
